- Fitness and Wellness Center
- Plan to begin construction in August of 2015
- Goal is to be finished in July of 2016
- $7 Million budget
- Will be connected to existing Markin Racquet Center and include 2 racquetball courts, locker rooms, 4-5 multipurpose fitness rooms, lounge, weight room, etc.
- Natatorium
- Currently waiting for funding before moving forward
- Budget is $13 Million
III. Grounds Update – Victor Garcia – Head of Grounds
Currently using organic fertilizers on part of campus – mainly the quad
Goal is to increase the area until they are using organic fertilizers over entire campus within 2 years
Initial cost is higher, but by the time you have used it for 3 year, you need less fertilizer so the cost is less
Benefit is a decreased dependence on fossil fuels, healthier plants
